A custom sweater manufacturer program starts with fabric identity: brushed fleece, French terry or another midweight knit, plus finished GSM and face/back handfeel. GSM alone does not define warmth or drape—two 320 GSM fleeces can feel different after brushing. Ask for swatches large enough to stretch at the neck and cuff. Specify neck rib width, stitch density and whether cuffs are rib, elastic or open hem.
Decoration on fleece needs trials. Embroidery can add stiffness; dense print can change local handfeel. Approve placement from stable points (center front, below neck rib) on the actual fabric color. MOQ remains 100 pcs per color per design; samples typically take about 7 days after materials are confirmed.
