Provide chest width and body length in the same units, with the measuring method. A wider body without a length decision can become a different silhouette from your reference.
Review front and side views on the intended base-size fit reference and record the finished dimensions.
A dropped shoulder moves the sleeve seam outwards. Keeping the original sleeve length can push the opening farther down the arm; decide the final reach and opening together.
Check across-shoulder, sleeve length and opening on the worn sample, not only on a flat garment.
Neck opening and rib recovery must work with the wider body. Do not enlarge every dimension by the same amount across sizes; agree which proportions stay visually consistent.
Review collar shape after care and compare the agreed size set with the approved base fit.
